Synopsis

It is set in the town of Bilaspur, Bihar in 1996. The film begins with the frightful depiction of a horde executing of two helpless ladies, arranged by personal stakes, and how town power players later sidestep managerial investigations into this outrage. This occurrence establishes the pace for a significant part of the remainder of the film.The focal characters are a youthful couple, Vinay (Ayub Khan) and Ketki (Madhuri Dixit). They are immediately dove into the middle of ruses by a few amazing and deceitful residents. Chief among them is temporary worker Tirpat Singh (Mohan Joshi), a ground-breaking, degenerate and savage man who persecutes destitute individuals and particularly ladies without risk of punishment. Vinay too becomes impacted by Tirpat, and under this impact spirals down a dull street of household misuse, liquor addiction, and childishness that estranges his caring spouse and destroys the entire family, notwithstanding her earnest attempts to battle this.The remainder of the film manages their endeavors to break out of this bog, both inside their relationship just as outside of it, and Vinay’s and particularly Ketki’s long, hard, and wicked battle to go up against and rout the powers of persecution and male mastery in the town.WIKI
